NEW PolyJet ToughONE for High-Precision Prototyping

New robust PolyJet 3D Printing Material

Stratasys Introduces PolyJet ToughONE for Durable, High-Precision Prototyping

Stratasys has launched PolyJet ToughONE, a robust new 3D printing material designed to advance both functional prototyping and select end-use applications. This latest addition to the PolyJet range enables engineers and designers to produce components that combine aesthetic detail with the durability required for real-world testing and performance.

PolyJet ToughONE is notable for its enhanced impact resistance and mechanical flexibility, allowing for post-processing operations such as drilling, milling, and self-tapping. These features make it particularly suitable for creating functional prototypes across a range of industries, including manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, bespoke housings, brackets, and covers, especially within consumer electronics and industrial design sectors.

In addition to its toughness, the material supports complex geometries such as thin walls, snap-fit features, and living hinges, all while maintaining excellent dimensional accuracy and surface finish. This makes it ideal for prototypes that need to closely replicate final production parts in both appearance and function.

Rich Garrity, Chief Business Unit Officer at Stratasys commented:

Manufacturers are constantly juggling speed, cost, and performance when developing new products, and every unnecessary prototype iteration leads to delays and additional expense. With ToughONE, we’re providing engineers with a material that helps them move from concept to functional testing more efficiently, with precision and reliability built in.
